Step In Time Records

In 1991 Step In Time Records started a series of concept albums for dance sport with Joe Bourne and the Step in Time Orchestra as the first label. Most of the albums honored other singers or composers such as Sam Cooke, Burt Bacharach, Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder. The focus was not on the proximity to the original, but on the individual and modern arrangements and Joe Bourne's special voice. On the Frank Sinatra / Nat King Cole album, however, Peter Douglas sings the Sinatra tracks.
