Josef Dinier and Hans Heiser founded the May Records label in 1980. In the 80s, the Mannheim-based company became well-known with its teaching count-albums for dance schools. These CDs were followed by many other CDs with modern dance music that is particularly suitable for beginners. Also the CDs "German Open Dancing" by the dance orchestra Wolf Kaiser have been released by May Records.
